Found unit working. Put gauges on the system and found it to be very low on charge. Found brazed connection at liquid line near evaporator oily. Refrigerant leak detector found leak at brazed connection. Applied soapy bubbles to confirm. Gave customer estimate for repair. Customer opted not to fix system. Due to it being so late in the cooling season, customer is going to cool home with window units and address the leak in the spring.
Found flame sensor to show low readings. Flames sensor was removed and cleaned which then showed proper reading. Customer was advised that burners should be replaced due to rust and current condition. Fan speed was also adjusted to show proper split. Filter replaced.
Performed standard fall maintenance on client's furnace. Checked the unit, checked ductwork, cleaned area around unit, inspected and replaced filters. Unit was in very good shape and should give them no trouble this winter.
Air conditioning unit was not working. On inspection, discovered damage to the compressor that made it non-functional. Replaced the compressor and restored unit to proper operation. Did quick inspection of the system to see if there were any other issues.
Well pressure tank was waterlogged. Replaced with a new WellxTrol pressure tank
